i brush my teeth when i am bored at home. compulsive habit?
Yu is a boxer, cleaning his thoughts before the big match.
they say all men think with their stomachs
(well, my brother does, anyway)
so the teeth must be an after thought.

looks like a polite and educated boxer.
i'm sure his gloves smell like lavanda, to sweeten his punches

ez valami nagyon rossz kórházban készülhetett, ahol sötét és depresszív minden, és megőrülsz a fertőtleníítőszagtól és abszolut készen vagy a nyugtatóktól.
jó lett.

leave it to you to make a teethbrushing compelling and worthy of a series. [in fact, i bristle at the thought of this in someone else's hands.] the lighting and overall aura of this one in particular are wonderful. it seems like a scene from a performance art piece...kind of a john cage / dental hygiene event. :}

it's wonderful idea and i can't wait to look into more pieces. i think they shall be the fairest of them all.
[and btw - i found a DVD of "belly of an architect" by mr greenaway! i had never seen one before and it was only 10.99US as well. this was the movie that turned me on to his work, so to say i'm excited is a huge understatement. is this the one you haven't seen yet?]

interesting opinion. i haven't seen it in probably 16 years, but i do remember enjoying it immensely. at the time though i was designing buildings for a living and found the choice of rome, the symmetrical shots, the weight and history of it all - maybe that same staticness - to be fitting for a portrayal of architecture and the obsessive architects i knew all too well in real life. drowning by numbers is indeed good, but i fell asleep on the draughtsman contract. it just didn't do it for me at the time i rented it. i'll let you know what i think of the architect at this nonarchitect stage of my life. :}

I tried eating a whole tube of toothpaste when I was a little kid. My mother was not happy about that!

A great portrait for this first element. The model has a good attitude. I'm waiting for the very promising "The Toothbrush Series".

Hmmm: a sötét háttérben lévő valamiket bámulom. és nem tudom egyeztetni a képpel, nem tudom összerakni, se felismerni őket. :S
ez a kép valahogy nagyon távolni számomra. cserébe nem tudok belekötni a fényviszonyokba...
