ROFL! Clog! My BF is from Holland, and once, me and ~Yankee-Rose talked about clogs for 5 hours straight. He almost cried.
Anyway, still, an awesome photo! I love the colour contrasts and the yellow on pink. Works well.

I like the line from her elbow to the top of her head... and as always your unexpected mixing of ideas

I'm conflicted about the lighting... on one hand, I like the stark/graphic quality it gives the image... on the other, combined with the makeup it is giving me much more of a "Japanese theatre" vibe than Egyptian... the Egyptians always use amber or colored lights in their photo shoots, no?

hmm... looking some more... I like the lighting-

...and I'm still getting the Japanese vibe
(hope that made at least a bit of sense)

hmmm you may be right, but I rather wanted to emphasize the 2D character of the egyptian wall paintings.
but if you get the japanese vibe, all the better! multiculture is the point anyway.
