i really love this image. not just because of the sentimental value [which is huge] but also because everything seems to play together so interestingly.
the atmosphere is unique, the light in all its voluptuousness and the way you rendered the whole subject.
do you realise, that already those were the days...? huh, nostalgia.

indeed; there will certainly be more wonderful days. it just struck me that already such a stretch of time has passed since the summer; and those wonderful days have moved into history and memory. they're not there in the immediate past anymore, where one can still almost touch them.
it is the first of december... soon the year will end; and once more i wonder where all the time went.

are you sure she's not just hiding in the barn to get a little break from the four little people who live in the house?
[good stuff. hope you enjoyed your travels and meetings. maybe someday you'll pass this way again too...?]

As usual, I absolutely adore the idea behind your photo. However, I don't think this came out as well as well as it could have. It's a beautiful photos alone, but once the story is tied in, it lacks somewhat. I think it's your choice of the model; she doesn't seem very seductive as you say Hulder are suppose to be, nor does she really seem like she longs to be free.

I completely understand that beauty standard is different from person to person, and I wasn't trying to point out that she isn't a fashion model; in fact, I do think of her as rather attractive. I did, however, mean that she doesn't seem to have a seductive aura about her.

i have a mixed reaction to this
i read more emotion from the setting than her face
everything seems moody and atmospheric except her
maybe its the size of the photo? i dont know
