Lyrm are ravenous little pokemon that require almost no space and no nutrition to survive. Because of this even small pools of water can be positively squirming full of Lyrm though despite their low nutritional requirement it won't be long before they start to attack and eat each other until eventually only a single one is left. Beacause of their appetite any Lyrm caught is not to be hoyed in any body of water, especially not wells...

Unlike their unevolved brethren Terrowell cut a fearsome figure. Enormous and insatiable they are a blight wherever they are found, consuming whole flocks and even people given the chance. They crave damp, confined spaces and historically have always dwelt in wells which they carry with them for defence, their boneless bodies collapsing into even surprisingly small structures. Despite a long held tradition of inhabiting wells they are increasingly hard to come by and a modern Terrowell may have to make do with anything from a boulder it bore a hole into to a scrap car.
