Love those rays, and I actually like the texture of rock surface used. Gives a sci-fi different planet feel. Very creative.

Exactly. This is a space planet and to my best knowledge, there is no vegetation on most planets. The rock is done fantastic, so I have no clue why that gentelmen would say that. I will tell you this, I surely dont have any srf of stone look that is this realistic looking. You did a superior job on that texture.

I think this should go in teh abstract category.
You should work on planet blending a bit more. ANd surface is just not convincing.

It looks as if done in great haste.

The surf map is very well made. I love all those colors they make a great texture!
