Description
This is the icon for my new group Love Sees No Gender . The group focuses on people who are attracted to multiple genders, such as bisexuals, pansexuals, polysexuals, bicurious, homoflexible, heteroflexible, polyamorous, omnisexuals, queer, multisexuals, trisexuals, pomosexuals and many more. We also respect anyone who is attracted to more than one gender yet does not wish to be labeled or has a non-conventional label. In addition, our group welcomes allies and other members of the LGBTQQIA commuity. We have a section for LGBTQQIA art.Right now, the group is under construction, but all are still welcome to join!

Well.... Gender does matter to me, when it comes to romantic love. But platonic love, yeah. Gender doesn't matter.

That makes sense.
I didn't mean for the phrase to imply that all people must be pansexual or attracted to all genders in some way but that love is universal, and people should be accepted no matter what genders they are or are not attracted to. I hope that clears it up!

Yeah. I'm bisexual, but I'm too scared to tell anyone. I almost told my best friend, but then I got scared she'll think I'm weird and ditch me, so I changed the subject.

It is really hard to come out. I didn't come out until I was 21. When I came out and identified as bisexual, I found that the people close to me were very supportive. I can't guarantee that your experience will be the same if you ever do tell your friend, but sometimes when I would come out to people, they would look me in the eye and say, "I am, too!" You would be surprised how many people can relate to you. It is possible that some people already realize it and just never said anything.

Oh wow, that's a long time. I told my best friend, and she's really supportive about that stuff apparently. I also found out her aunts are gay, so there will be no ditching of friends.
Thank you for the support! Also, I've been asking a lot of my close friends if they support LGBTQ, and I don't know if they know or not, but they say they're COMPLETELY supportive. But if they know, they might be saying that to make me feel okay, which they'd totally do that behind my back..

I'm pansexual. I haven't officially come out to my parents but I've told my mom that you can't control love. If I end up with a guy fine. If I end up with a girl whatever. Love should not be based on gender if you love someone and they make you happy then damn it thats the way its gonna be with me
And quick question since I've never heard of them before what's homoflexible, pomosexual and omni sexual?

That's a great mindset! I hope that when and if you come out to your parents that they accept you for who you are, even if it takes time. Your heart is in the right place, and whatever happens, know that you are doing the right thing!
By the way, I'll tell you what those what those three words mean.
"Homoflexible" means that a person is generally interested in the opposite sex but is experimenting or has a tendency to be attracted to the same sex as well.
"Pomosexual" means that a person does not accept labels for gender identity and sexual orientation (which I've always found kind of weird because pomosexual is a label, too. But hey, whatever floats their boat.)
Omnisexual is basically another word for pansexual, and I know that you're very familiar with that word!

^^ I dunno why but when I read the word omnisexual my brain flipped it to Omnitrix(ben10) Im such a nerd oh my god.
I know my mom will accept it but in conversations about dateing my dad has told me he really couldnt give two fucks about who I bring home he didnt even care if it was a girl, but occaisonally he has homophobic tendencies that make me uneasy so.. shmeh hopefully in the near future I'll let them know. I kinda feel like mom already knows but eh whatever.

Wow, you really should keep yourself safe. I know how that is because right now I can't even go to university because it's not safe for me (and I'm not just paranoid; my psychiatrist, my therapist, my professor, and campus services all believe me when I say I'm not safe.) Just make sure you don't provoke him. I know it might sound like overreaction, but he has demonstrated that he has weapons and a criminal history. Be careful when you tell him the bad news. Don't act angry towards him; even though he deserves it, you don't know how he will react.
