(do you see what I did there?)So at Y-con this year I got a bunch of PB and Marcy prints
And then I went to this lesbian Karaoke party, where I met a tall dark and handsome lady that I had lots of fun dancing with, and couldn't contain the inspiration ^^ Did I mention I'm thinking about cosplaying PB? I was leaning toward some of her more outlandish outfits, but nothing specific justΒ yet. I hope will join me as Fiona

Omg you ship this. Did I know you ship this? I have so many intense feelings about these two; I will be unendingly jealous but still super excited for you if you end up doing Peebles. What do you have in mind when you say outlandish? Like the big cupcake dress in the Royal Tart episode? My personal favorite is mad scientist PB like in the Goliad episode, but it would be really cool to see something big and extravagent~

I don't think you do know, though I've raided your faves several times, looking for good fanarts, so I know you like 'em.
They are quite lovely. I like how with all PB's aloofness, she still cares about Marcelline a great deal, and that little evil song Marcy wrote about drinking the red out of PB's pretty pink face. And the quality time.
As for the outfits, I was mainly thinking about the Science Suit (from the science fair episode?)
I like having multiple outfits for the character I cosplay, and PB lends herself perfectly to that. I kind of dread having to paint myself pink all over, but look at the hundreds of HomeStuck fans doing it, right?
Why would you be jealous? Is it something you've considered doing?
I've talked to the tall dark and handsome lady just earlier tonight, and she expressed excitement about doing Marcy with me. It would be sooo perfeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeect~! (and I should immediately go to bed. How ever will I survive work tomorrow? T_T)

Yeeees, they have this weird frenemy thing going on and, just like that song mentions, clearly something has happened to break them up--but I would totally believe they already dated in the past and now they just pretend they don't have feelings for each other anymore.Β
Not PB, but I've always always wanted to be Marci (like, the one from What Was Missing; I mostly have the whole outfut already, too). Or Marshall Lee because I love him, too. But Jessica refuses to do Bonnie or Gumball for me. So I'll probably never get to. v_v But it's still exciting that you could, especially if this lady acquaintance of yours wants to do it with you. ^.^

Yeah, since we usually don't have the opportunity for solo cosplay, we like to do our favorite pairings. Because, y'know, fan service. >///> And that way, we get to take pictures together, which is always more fun.Β
We have three or four different pairs we've been wanting to do, but...time and money (and her breaking her foot) have not allowed much leeway for con-going. This year's Oni-con will mark two years since our last convention. I'm really genuinely very sad about it. =/ We're hoping this will improve once we're done with school and...y'know, established adults and all. >_> With paychecks.Β

I hope her foot is healing well. That sounds incredibly painful. I've broken a toe once, but that was it.
Haven't heard of Donald Glover. Will look him up. You'd be jealous of her cosplaying a character with a cool voice actor?

Two years without conventions, ouch. It's been almost as long for me, but then I went to Yaoi con just a couple of weeks ago ~yay~. Each time I think "I'm growing out of this, maybe this is my last con," and then I have such an amazing time, that I want to go back

Oh, it is; she broke it last Thanksgiving, so it's mostly all better now. ^^ But yeah, it did cause her a lot of trouble; there was a period of her surgery where she just...couldn't walk. Like, at all. So that sucked.

But it's not just a character I'm a fan of.... Let's see...we cosplayed from Tiger and Bunny a while back. The "tiger" in the equation is named Kotetsu, and he's one of the best characters ever. I love Kotetsu, but I don't identify with him as a "me" character, so I was perfectly happy to just fangirl over Jessica while she cosplayed him. The same goes for Yukio Okumura from Blue Exorcist.
But then, there are characters like Grell or Mephisto Pheles or Death the Kid, with whom I strongly identify and think of as "my" characters, y'know? Those are the ones who make me uncomfortable when I see other people cosplay them (which I know is petty), so if Jessica were to use one of them...it would feel weird to me. >_> Marceline is one such character.
