My Christmas card is DONE!!!On the fourth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me:
Four Colly Birds!
Meaning- the four Gospels: Matthew, Mark Luke and John

And your Christmas card this year is absolutely stunning!
Dear ol' Roderick! Every time I see him, he just renders me terribly happy, and how delightful it is to see Rachel again! the sprig of Holly tucked in the bodied coiffs of her raven hair, in conjunction with the black ribbon choker with gold piece accents her skin tone in such an angelic manner.
And the glowing smile on her face, along with her sumptuous but simply graceful red Christmas dress is a gracious sight to be seen!
And Roderick! The detailing of the scar hidden but not quite by the eye-patch has always impressed me. The worn look on his face denotes a certain weariness that hounds him due to the life he has been in, but there still remains a steady spark and flicker of warmth and heartiness.
In his eyes, you expressed this warmth, and its permeates through subtly, but strongly at the same time.
The tone in his hair has such a natural graduation to it, it is incredible to appreciate.
Your command of capturing clothing stuns me still!
And I had no idea it was Colly Birds! The lyrics I had read always read as, "Calling birds", but as you pointed out, it is an accent error.

Thank you! But it is Colly. It's a common American mistake. It's actually English cockney for Coal-like or black. Therefore, with the accent, Colly.

that is cool, because it means the one of the 12 ornaments I have that I've always laughed about the misspelling... is actually correct! XD
