They suspected, however, that as the plant life introduced from Earth adjusted to its iron-rich soil, it'd shift back to its orange-brown original colour within a few generations. As if it had always been intended to stay that way, and this stage of its obvious greening was merely a fleeting glimpse at the dreams of the visionaries that had made Mars habitable.
