Description They still called it the Red Planet, though in truth it hadn't really been red for fifty years now. They suspected, however, that as the plant life introduced from Earth adjusted to its iron-rich soil, it'd shift back to its orange-brown original colour within a few generations. As if it had always been intended to stay that way, and this stage of its obvious greening was merely a fleeting glimpse at the dreams of the visionaries that had made Mars habitable.
