i hate taking photos of my art, it always comes out looking all shitty and poop-likei used crayon > india ink > dental tools > acrylic paint
my paintings are always so messy, eugh

I don't care if your painting is a mess. It's still beautiful and eyecatching to look at. All the colors seem to mesh together wonderfully.

I like your style a lot, it's bold and stands out. The impression is indeed very Russian, reminds me of Tolstoi and the likes. The atmosphere and technique are both superb. The painting has a lot of depth. It doesn't look at all messy to me, but instead totally in control under the seemingly chaotic look.

to me, it only looks messy, because this is actually a paint-over of another piece i did
the first one was very different, but i was annoyed at the time, so i kinda smacked this together
