Redo of this: Decided to make the dragon's appearance and color based on a Queztal.

Took less time than I expected to finish it.
Time: ~14 hours

I could of done more with the dragon itself, but the focus was on the background and lighting. I'll do my research or feathers and practice a ton with them for the sky lung, which is next. Really need it!!!

This is the the smallest of all the dragons from my dragon challenge. He lives in tropical rain forests and is small enough to live in holes within the trees where it practically remains hidden to the human eye unless you know where to look for such mythical beings. They come out mainly when the sunlight reflects onto the early morning mist or in early dusk when the sun is at the perfect angle to create this deep fog like mist. This allows them to remain hidden from predators as they use sound to search for insects. They also feed on fruits and berries where they can remain hidden in broad daylight within the thick canopies. These little guys actually can't fly as they use their talons on their wings, similar to a microraptor to crawl up and down the trees and they can leap great distances and using their feathers like a parachute/hang glider they can glide from tree to tree. There is a smaller pair of wings on their hind legs too. They do this order to cover the most ground quickly or escape from predators. They are so small and fast that it is easy to mistaken them for other other tropical forest animals like the sugar glider. They are very mysterious indeed and their beautiful feathers blend in so well with the surrounding environment.
