i agree man but i have a feeling we will get more costumes in SF5 so theres still hope, if not we have modders here if you play on pc you win at least her premium costume lets us see her feet in sandals.

I'm not really embarrassed. I barely got to play Street fighter IV, and that was in 2012. I enjoyed it, but my memory is fuzzy about the small details of characters.

I think you're just trying to upset me, but I really don't care. I do apologize for saying something that I assume upset you, but I do a lot of things, and really don't feel ashamed to say I didn't remember that, since it's not a defining trait to me, and it isn't like I played it yesterday. The irony of this is I intend to get back into the FGC with SFV, and was hoping to have a welcome experience, since I recalled the FGC being very wecloming.

Without looking, how many belts is Sol wearing? I doubt you have a belt fetish, and maybe that'd explain how I feel towards feet. Mostly, I watch the body of the characters, since there aren't just kick buttons in a fighter, and you need to react to either, so I usually didn't glance down. Plus, even though I love her to pieces, Ibuki isn't Ryu. Ryu is an icon of gaming, like pac-man, or Mario, where as Ibuki is the "generic ninja" for sfIV/III.

I know I could just block you and drop the conversation with a good, burning last jab,but I always enjoy a fun debate, so by all means, keep it up, just don't expect to have your insults upset me; I've been on the internet before, and you are not the first abrasive person I've seen.

Though, what are my "three I have going for me"? From what I recall, I forgot Ibuki was barefoot, and wasn't ashamed to say it didn't matter to me, but that's only two things.

Are you serious?  You're asking me to count all of the trinkets on a character and are likening it to the simple task of looking down with your eyes and going "shoes" / "no shoes"?

Nice try trying to downplay her existence.  She, along with the two other characters, Elena and Makotto, are the first barefoot female fighters in street fighter history.  Capcom's design team noticed the huge amount of sweaty, smelly feet men running around without shoes, and noticed every single female fighter all the way up to alpha 3 has had on comfortable shoes, and decided to rectify that "problem".  Not to mention, she was such a popular character that they actually brought her back to SF fighting games *shrug*.  For someone to claim they didn't notice shows a very alarming lack of environmental awareness, and an even greater disrespect for the "artwork", something you say you enjoy, but can't be assed to pay attention to the details.  Shit if I put a feather on one of my character's asses, and got 60 comments, and out of all of them no one noticed it was there, I'd think my watchers were all retards.

I'll note that you didn't counter my statement about keeping my eyes on the middle of the screen.

I could describe a robber, but I would tell him useful things like what the color of the perp's shirt was, or facial features. If he was wearing Air Jordan's, or Sketchers, I wouldn't be able to say.

OK, you're right. STREET FIGHTER has a hostile fanbase. I played some Arcsys games, and Lab Zero's Skullgirls, and never had any issues with hostile people. Actually, almost everyone was really cool. If you haven't played Skullgirls, I highly recommend it.

It's an excellent try at downplaying her existence, actually. Ryu got in smash, Ibuki didn't. Ryu's Hadoukenand shoryuken are iconic, neckbreaker is really fun, but that's it. Ryu is more important in the history by far.

That's actually rather interesting about the back story, though. Now that you point it out, there really are quite a few barefoot characters introduced in SFIII.

I also hate to disappoint you, but Street fighter isn't the only art on here, and in the minority of my interests. Plus, I'm pretty sure I acknowledged that she had shoes in this piece in my first comment, so, what's your point? I've favorites about 1500 pieces, and I've assessed them all properly. Feel free to check.

Except Sonicfox IS a fighting game elitist.  Taking sollace in him beating other high level players when he's a high level player himself is a pathetic attempt at associating with the likes of him.  It doesn't matter whether he himself thinks he's high level either, so long as he's good enough to beat people.  Now let's see him play a fighting game where there's little to no need to guess at what he's going to do next, something that seems to be the only thing he accels at from my point of view.  Most of the games he's good in, combined with the characters he plays relies heavy on 50/50 guesswork where he doesn't have to worry about getting punished big for doing something stupid - see Eron Black's fucking slide.  I never see that move get full combo punished because of the small window one gets to do so.

So, just to clarify something. The Skullgirls community was at the time of my involvement, and most likely still is extremely close-knit. Most of the scene is online, and even the creators talk with the fans. So,, if you actually try to play, you'll chat with evo champions, a few international pros, and Sonicfox, too. I suppose Dustloop doesn't cover all of Arcsys, but enough to make me think it's got a pleasant fanbase. I assume you replied without knowing anything about Skullgirls, or thinking that I didn't care too much about it. Recall I said I played SFIV in 2012, and Skullgirls came out in 2012. It isn't a coincidence that I know more about Skullgirls, because I dropped SFIV for it. And granted I never got serious with Arcsys, but they certainly didn't do something like this over trivial matters.

Sonicfox started playing Street fighter this year. The pros have been playing for ages, and he still beats most of them. Sonic has been into competitive fighters for a few years only. He's a pro, but not at Street Fighter, and compared to the rest, he may as well be a casual, yet he wins. Downplaying him is silly, since he can beat you and me both at any game you want.

Oh, and Vega has been in SFII, SFA, SF4 and SF5, so, if anyone is getting noticed by a casual or non-fighting game-playing gamer, is sure isn't Ibuki. Don't be so ignorant. So, just to clarify something.

So what?  Again, your experiences don't make up the entirety.  The fact that you ran into me is evidence enough tha tthe FGC is still "hostile".  All you have to do is say something outlandish like you did earlier and people will jump on your case.

No, it's accurate.  Highly accurate.  You haven't refuted my point as to how he manages to win, and from what I've seen of his gameplay, it's mostly because he relies heavily on characters with 50/50 guess work that don't take full punishes if they fuck up.  Refute this or shut up.  And even if he does play Street Figther, WHICH ONE?  If you're talking about 4, then you might as well give up, because a lot of those characters are just guess guess guess.  I could imagine him playing Seth or Rufus, and that would solidify my argument to the point of being bedrock.  He can see me in Guilty Gear, Sol vs Ky (a 5 - 5 matchup) or any other 5 - 5 matchup.  This game has multiple correct reactions to a specific setup, so it takes out a lot of the guesswork needed.  See how well your hero does when he can't rely on someone making a wrong guess.

The best way to get better at any fighting game is to go to training mode and fucking practice.  People can take an hour to several hours learning how to play a character.  During that time, they would've noticed something as simple as "oh, he/she has X on".  Next thing you'll tell me is that you didn't notice that Juri has a midriff.
