Description
This is just an old sketch I found to test my new Faber-Castell pens on.I am so tired to relying on Photoshop for everything...I need to start learning some traditional mediums. And while I'm at it, learn how to make lines and shading/coloring all smooth-like.

If you are using a pencil to do the shading try taking a peace of bathroom tissue and rub it over your shadows that will help blend it in.
As far advice on making the line smother, I've found that when I make the line faster it turns out much smother then if I try to do it slow.

Thanks! I used pens with these, but I'm going to try more with pencil, too. I will definitely try that blending technique. Thanks for the tips! ^^
