Description
General Grievous: A cybernetic warrior with no peer, Grevious is a master of lightsaber combat who has slaughtered Jedi like a wolf would a lamb; and has lead his droid troops to astounding victories. With each new victory, he takes the blade of his enemy as a trophy.Master Chief: A member of the SPARTAN program meant create a new breed of Super Soldiers. He is considered an inspiration to the other marines and Spartans of the UNSC, such that his appearance on the field is a sign that victory is near.
Now these two shall face each other on the field of battle. The General has faced many deadly opponents, but can he take on this Super Soldier? And while the Chief has defied the odds many times, will he be a match for the four blades of this cybernetic killer? Only time will tell, as plasma sword and lightsaber clash, as the SPARTAN hero battles the CIS General to answer the ultimate question...

Legends Grievous wins without too much trouble. As always, MC is massively overrated.

Masterchief vs. GG Episode III book variant. I say Tuna in a Can for Masterchief. GG in Episode III book moves so fast that the lightsabers he uses are literally moving at quantum lightspeeds, its just a sheet of light; but they could change direction in just as quick a move. Hence why the battle in Episode III book between GG and Obi-Wan is a nail biting thriller. While the movie its anti-climatic.
And it took Mace-Windu with Form 7 Va-pad to even punch GG in the gut!
Now if Masterchief has active camo or some other odd piece of Covie tech. He might get in a hit on the other variants. But Grievious has a massive speed and heuristic learning processor. So any tricks Master Chief tries will be reflected. Plus Grievous could always go the Indiana Jones Route. Wave the Lightsabers around to distract MC and then shoot him with his blaster and near lightspeed trigger pulls. [SHIELD DOWN.]
Even with MC dual wielding Plasma Swords, I think GG would still win.
Grievous also is a veteran of a planetary war before he became a Cyborg. So his experience level is probably on par if not higher than MC.
SO there is that factor.
Also if Grievous uses the Magnaguard staff, he would have a field day with MC.
So MC might want to go pick a fight with some other villian.

If this is EU grievous he wins with some difficulty but if it's Disney grievous he get's crushed like everything in their canon.

The Chief can flip over a 66 metric ton Main Battle Tank by hand, he wouldn't even need a weapon to kick Grievous's ass.

Yes, and Grievous has fought and killed numerous Jedi with weapons that can slice through among other things super-metals with durability no worse than MC's armor. You also conveniently ignore/forgot about the difference in speed.

Grievous takes this. He's significantly faster than MC, can easily hold his own against much more skilled opponents, and is just all around more powerful

Significantly? John can dodge bullets fired from a mingun at point blank range without his molnjir armor, which multiplies his reaction time by 6. Add this to the fact that John has energy shields which would allow him to essential grab a lightsaber, on top of using bullets which could hit in between grievous´s armor plates and move too fast for grievious to block, and you have a much closer battle than you think.

GG fights and moves faster than thought and can deliver over a dozen strikes a second. So superhumanly fast that he has overwhelmed Jedi (nearly all of whom can dodge blaster bolts) and appeared to teleport from one end of a room to the other. He's also held his own against RotS Obi-Wan, who could react to a ship coming at him at sunlight speeds (said to be "a respectable fraction of lightspeed").
And, frankly, given what lightsabers have cut through over the years, John's energy shields mean way, way less than you think, and the idea that John is grabbing a lightsaber is ridiculous (especially since he wouldn't know how to use it). He is also not moving "far too fast for Grievous to block" for the reasons I've already covered, and if Grievous can dodge blaster bolts and Force TK, he can dodge bullets, meaning John won't just shoot him between the armor plates, no matter how accurate a shot he is (as he can't make bullets go any faster than they're going to go).
So no, this is not a "much closer battle than we'd think". It's a mismatch against John.
