Kisame: Monster of the Hidden Mist, and one of the strongest members of Akatsuki

Harribel: The Third Espada, one of Azien's elite and one of the greatest tacticians of all the Arrancar.

So what will it be? Naruto or Bleach? Samehada or TiburΓ³n? Brute Force or Cold Precision? It's up to you to decide:

WHO! IS! DEADLIEST!

(Disclaimer: Just to be clear, these two combatants were created / are owned by people far more creative / wealthier then me. I have made this, not for profit, but in the hopes of encouraging spirited discussion among fans. Please support the combatants official series. Thank you, that is all).

With your permission could I actually make a Death Battle on this, I think it'd be an interesting fight and the it would be close when you consider a lot of what the two can do. I'll give you credit of course for the idea.Β

I know this has been talked about to death, but Halibel would win this. First and foremost, Samehada wouldn't work because Reishi and Chakra are not the same thing. They are similar in principal, but they are not the same, much like oil and natural gas. Secondly, Tiburon gives her complete control over all forms of water, including ice, as we clearly saw during her battle with Hitsugaya. Thirdly, she has the advantage of not being held back by "worldly anchors", she can float and travel at hypersonic speeds in air, does not need to breathe, and doesn't use much energy at all, whereas Kisame still has those "anchors". Fourth, her spirit-based attacks would be devastating. Between a spiritual pressure powerful enough to paralyze Kisame and the Cero/Bala attacks, Kisame would not be able to stand up to her.

Tia Halibel would win and here are some reasons why she would

1. Kisame's sword only eats Chakra, granted his sword could still do some damage, but Tia Halibel doesn't have Chakra, so Kisame can't stop her attacks or drain her of power.

2. Tia can fly (sort of), and remain out of Kisame's reach, plus she can fire gaint Water missles at him.

3. Unlike kisame, Tia Halibel is a real Shark and there for more deadly.

4. And the final reasom why she would win is simple, She can fire a Deadly Cero at Kisame, and are a bitch to avoid if your not a soul reaper.

Alright, those are some good reasons. But suppose that Kisame's sword could eat her energy? Suppose we assume for this fight that Chakra and Reishi work on the same principal, and can thus be consumed by his sword. Would that make a big difference in the overall fight, or would Harribel still win?

RyuRyugami In reply to ScarecrowsMainFan [2013-09-20 00:56:33 +0000 UTC]

hmm, you make a good point, but given the other facts i mentioned before like Tia's cero attack, I'm pretty sure Tia would win hands down, I mean all she has to do is avoid his sword and shoot Cero's at him and kisame is down for the count.

Both have lots of experience, both are expert of the sword, and both are freakishly strong. Both can create water and manipulate it (though Kisame seems to be a bit more creative).

Harribel can fly (or walk on air), and she has the standard hollow powers of iron like skin, energy projection in either the form of small balls or massive bursts, and able to move short distances in an almost teleportation like burst of speed.

Kisame can summon sharks, create clones of himself with water, hide his very presence inside his sword, or merge with his sword for a massive boost in power. His sword Samehada can only be used by him (all others will be cut by the blade...usually) and the blade can absorb energy.

I`d have to say Tier. She has Hierro, she`d be in the air, she has Sonido, Hirviendo, and she could probably have him for dinner (or cannabalize. Whatever you prefer.)

Reiyoku is spirit energy, which is used to make Chakra, so possibly.

ScarecrowsMainFan In reply to dayle14 [2013-01-09 18:57:12 +0000 UTC]

For the purpose of this fight, assume that Reiyoku and Chakra are the same thing, or that they at least function in the same way.

So to answer your question: For this fight, yes.

I know by the time I saw this this has probably been argued to death. But here we go. Tier Harribel would win for the following reasons. Despite his water bomb attacks that he can give the ability to drain CHAKRA too it can't drain an opponent all at once. And let's say it can drain rieshi the first time it touches Tier she will notice. At that time she will manipulate ALL of his attacks in mid air and turn them back on him or just add them to her own attack and throw them back. Harribel has more control over the water than Kisame. For those saying but he has earth techniques too. Yes he does he has ONE earth technique Earth Release: Subterranean Voyage. And ALL it does is allow him to travel through the ground like it's water. When your opponent can fly and turn buildings into gravel that's a pretty useless ability. Samehada can't absorb Ceros. Samehada can't even fully absorb a fireball technique (***spoiler warning****) when fighting Itachi Killer Bee uses Samehada who then gets scorched and complains to him in some fashion that hot chakra is a no no. A cero is basically a high powered laser it burns folks. which means that's not going down. On top of that cero can be fired as orbs or as lasr beams. How fast is Kisame? Cause he's not ranked in the top three for fastest ninja in the world so...
Silent Killing technique relies on water, once again that's negated. And she's a skilled warrior having a high level or perception and the ability to read people at a glance. She'd know she could overpower him at any given time and be on the lookout. The end of the day she wraps him up in his own water attack places him in her palace as a decoration and claims Samehada since he likes her strange new energy signature.

Once again, all y'all r stupid and hav no brains, Kisame, hands down, Tier can control water, so can he, thing is he can also burrow through the ground like a freaking sand shark, Tier has cero's u say, well want r cero's, they r giant blasts of pure spiritual pressure which is basically the same thing as chakra which when Kisame combines with Samehada he absorbs right into his freaking skin and can use that to repair almost any damage to his body, Tier's tactics will be useless because a prolonged battle with Kisame will exhaust her on a level most warriors don't even know is possible, he will be draining her from the first few seconds of battle to the very last breathe, Tier knows all about sacrifice and Kisame knows what has to be done to complete his assignment even if its costs his life and everyone one on his team he will make sure Tier doesn't draw another breathe even if he has to have giant sharks swallow both of them whole, in a battle of sharks, Tier is jaws and Kisame is Megalodon

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

rakaru In reply to cfakatsuki [2012-11-24 04:55:15 +0000 UTC]

Chakra and spiritual power are comparable, but not the same thing. Is fossil fuel and solar power the same thing? No.

Tier can walk in the air, Kisame can't. Another thing Kisame can't do is control water, he uses water based jutsu, which Tier could turn around and use as attack power against Kisame. Tier mainly uses long-ranged abilities, making Samehada useless in trying to drain her. Even is Kisame uses that merge ability with Samehada, he would lose because Tier can use the whole water sphere against him. In a battle of sea monsters, Kisame is Megalodon, Tier is Liopleurodon.

Really ur gonna bug me here too <.< and leopleurodon isn't even a shark u ruined the metaphor and there's one fatal flaw that makes Kisame the auto win <.< he can breath under water Tier can't and the giant shark dome is 100% under his control as he demonstrated by moving along with himself and controlling its currents to halt Killer Bees escape and I'm no longer arguing with u <.< go away

When, exactly they reveal that Tier couldn't breathe underwater? All water is under Tier's control, she even turned ice back into water then used it for her own attack, Kisame gots nothing on that. Tier owns Kisame, and has a nice fish dinner.

I don't know why people say Kisame. In the long run, it's Harribel who wins. She's the 3rd strongest Espada and has the ability to control water, Kisame's terrain. Not only that, but there's also Ceros, which are strong enough to put holes in buildings. Harribel is also more intelligent and calmer under combat, whereas Kisame gets cocky. And my last point is experience. Before Espada, she survived in the kill or be killed world of Hueco Mundo, killing to survive. Kisame would never have survived there.

ThunderLordess [2012-08-12 21:09:20 +0000 UTC]

Well, this certainly would be a large spectacle indeed. Though Samehada can probably absorb reishi, I'm pretty sure it would have to get in contact with Halibel. However, she's pretty fast with her shunpo. Meaning Kisame has to catch her. And unfortunately, most of his water jutsu would be useless against her in her release. However, he's a master ninja and relies on trickery and stuff to win his battles while Halibel is more of a "samurai", meaning she relies on brute force and power to win her battles. It would be a tight match, but I think Halibel would win. But as long as Samehada doesn't get a crush on Tiburon, Kisame stands a pretty good chance.

I'm mixed about this one but I think I'll lean towards Kisame on this one. Mostly it's because his sword can EAT energy which I"m sure will be bad news for Harribel.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 0

Marvelninja [2012-07-09 14:34:49 +0000 UTC]

Difficult to chose, but I'm leaning more towards Tier Harribel for this one.

Why?

Well, first off, she's hot . Second, hierro is pretty tough to cut, even with a sword that literally shaves off skin like Kisame's Samehada. Third, while Kisame's Samehada absorbs chakra, we don't know how it would react to reishi. It might cause it to explode in a blast of gory fish-parts for all we know (lol ). Fourth and finally, Harribel's TiburΓ³n has a distinct advantage in the variety of water-based techniques it can create, and the range it can cover, not to mention it can affect the temperature of water as well, effectively boiling Kisame like a fish in a skillet.
