Trying to flesh out what a Hup forest looks like. I can imagine it a little bit, but when it comes to putting it down on paper, it always ends up looking like a crazy earth forest still. The plants are so different, and many of them are strangely built to be slightly buoyant or otherwise light. Most Hup forests grow on the roots of gigantic 'mother trees' which dot the landscapes, so tree root cliffs and very chaotic ground shape is a dominating feature.A little doodle testing the hup landscape.

for better or worse, "trees" probably exist on every planet with life on it - plants seek to throw their competition into shadow, whether algae (stromatalites & kelp) to sunflowers (silverswords, I think) and many more.
