I underesnatd, seeing cactus flowers isn´t common. But they blossom nicely when they do.

they sure do!  also love the pinks and oranges and reds and creams blooming together...such great color combinations for a desert!!

It always suprises me how colourful they can be. I mean, cacti can look quite plain, but their flowers are of so many wonderful colours.
