Added 7/16/08Primal Rage is awesome-I wish they had made the second game with this guy in it. I wish they'd make a remake of it now-with more awesome, vicious critters to beat up on.
The only pictures I've seen of him are of the old toy, and I couldn't tell if he was brown or orange, so I went with the nice, bright orange.

Awesome. I wish I had a skecthbook in that size, but sadly I have one size that is about an inch bigger than my scanner. I believe 10 by 12 or 10 by 14, something odd. And the memories are good. Though John Carpenter's The Thing still makes me nauseous... (o.O)

This is pretty good depiction. The figure has alot brighter orange, almost yellow but thats alright. Nice to see some PR fanart again. God knows when GodzillaSamurai will get another fan itch...

Damn, did I ever love PR, though my favorite beastie (in terms of design and spiffy moves) had to be Diablo...his figure even came with little projectile fireballs (which of course I lost within a day).
Now, Slashy here...a friend of mine had his action figure, as well as Necrosan's, and I gotta admit neither one did too much for me at the time. Still a shame that second game didn't pan out (would you believe I found out about it through a spin-off comic book?).
Oh, right, the piece: Great use of perspective, and especially fine work on those talons (speaking of Talon...ye gods, they practically have the same color pattern!). I do think he'd look better with some pupils, though.

Ahh, Diablo has to be one of my faves, too-I picked him the most. I may keep going with these, if the urge hits, so you may see him.
I love Slashfang a bit more, though that may be my bias for giant cat monsters shining through. XD
I see what you're saying about the pupils, as well. He would look a bit better with them.

Awesome! I've got the Slashfang toy as well, and this is pretty dead-on. The orange is about right, I think. Only thing off is that he's missing the brown lining on his stripes: [link] . Looks great irregardless, though!
