i love this...it totally fucked with my mind as a thumbnail and when i zoom....it gets better. This is such an acid trip.
Seriously, though, the fuzzy out-line is great on this. It offsets the gauntness of the heads where it appears that the skulls are pushing through the skin(where lines are sharp). The background, also, is a compliment to the forms and, although it is not a true complimentary color, the dirivative is perfect. It amazes me that this is from your sketch book.

Rather than seeing it as two persons, I see it as one person pulling the person within "out". I really like the pastel background, and the flame-like colors at the perimeter/horizon. The figure on the right is all but expressionless, maybe that's why you don't like it..his apparent indifference to the person within?--AG

Well, it was a single person - the left one. Then he got a second head (not in the position I really wanted). Then I said to myself "why not" and thus appeased additional arms. It got a bit tricky because now you really don't know which arms belong to what character

The guy on the right to me looks as if he's just kind of looking ahead as the other person has his head down, one sees the future, one sees the present both combined are walking away from their past. That's what I'm getting from this piece.
