Description This old (October 2012) oil painting was basically showing that I'm trying to improve upon my lighthouses, though honestly I think the ocean in the previous one might have been a little better?  At least the clouds and lighthouse looked a little better, if still a little flat   16x20"

thank you!  I love the color, but they did appear flatter than I would have liked

Compared to the sea and the cliff, the sky seems done differently.
Even if you think the clouds are flatter, it's the part I prefer in your painting.

Looks like they were painted with the wet-on-wet watercolour technique...

well it is the wet-on-wet oil painting technique based on Bob Ross tutorials (though this one was my own design rather than simply copying one of his tutorials)!
