You must know, I am a great power metal fan. So one of my fav bands is Blind Guardian [link] . On there album Nightfall in Middle Earth there is a song called Mirror Mirror. The song includes a passage:

Far, far beyond the island
We dwelt in shades of twilight
Through dread and weary days
Through grief and endless pain

It lies unknown
The land of mine
A hidden gate
To save us from the shadow fall
The lord of water spoke
In the silence
Words of wisdom
I've seen the end of all
Be aware the storm gets closer

So this passage was my inspiration for this picture. I created it with Bryce 5 (yep, another Bryce picture) and only made the flag and the portal picture with a grafikprogram. The symbol on the flag is taken from the role playing game Vampire and present the Kappadozianer the vampire Clan of Death. I know that there are a few mistakes in the picture, but I like it as it is.
