I like the level of detail in the background.

You just keep improving every time you post a new work. The rate is almost scary to look at! O_O
This painting is very effective and bordering on perfect. There are very little things I would address that could still benefit from editing. One is the tree on the right. The bottom part of the trunk is good, as well as the left side, but towards the top, some issues pop up. Starting from above the blooming white plant, the right side (from the viewer's perspective) looks somehow flat. It probably has something to do with the shading and the lack of indication that the vertical elements get closer together to increase the illusion of curvature. You have two light stripes that are about the same thickness and not all that much difference in value either. The other thing to address is that the top forks into four branches (or sub-trunks, I don't know what to call them), when it seems unlikely that a natural tree would suddenly fork like that, or if it did, each fork would spread in different direction like 12, 3, 6, 9 o'clock when viewed from above, rather than them all being arranged in a row like fingers. The fallen tree in the front could also benefit from a more rough texture. But overall, these things I mentioned are minor compared to how well everything else works. The lighting and composition are great and serve to draw focus on the main character. The character looks perfect at a glance and I see no need to take a magnifying glass to it to try to pick out possible errors. The foliage is beautiful and luminous, repeating the color of the knoll and sets a dreamy atmosphere. The pairing of green, purple and brown with a little bit of white and those tiny red flowers, is in perfect balance. The texture effects on the stone and grass are great, too.
I think I first ran into your works in March this year and you already had some of the magic back then but also pretty major issues. You've been constantly learning new things and in the last 7 weeks, your rate of development seems to have accelerated considerably. I get the feeling you're close to reaching a major breakthrough. I'm glad I signed up as a watcher earlier so I won't miss when it happens. You got all of these magical worlds inside your imagination and you're constantly getting better at transferring them onto a canvas so that others can enjoy them as well. This piece is already so good that if I saw it in a printed book, I wouldn't hesitate to pay for it.

Freeing. I love the light on the top of the hill. Also reminds me of trips to sacred standing stones in Ireland and England. This work evokes the power of place and the peace possible through quiet observation of the earth.

I'm glad you like it and that it awakens a feeling and/or reminds you of past trips. didn't know you have been to Ireland and England? It is also one of my goals to visit that places (as well as scotland) one day . I miss that feeling when being surrounded completely by nature and stillness. It's time to visit such a place again soon
