เราก็รู้จักอยู่ไม่กี่วงแหละ...แถมอีวงนี้มันก็หลุดวงโคจรเจร็อคไปไกลอยู่เหมือนกัน...

Actually, me too
I haven't listened to J-Rock for a long time
( Dir En Grey is just the exception...and now, they are more like metal band anyway.)

I tried to represent his personality, their music...and my wish for her : )

Metal, you say? Maybe I should consider getting into their music more seriously...I mean, my main problem with j-rock is that I can't tell the difference between most of the bands, so I get a little discouraged.

That's my problem too XD
So I can remember only a few old bands which their sounds are quite distinctive.

About Dir En Grey, I think their sound developed a lot from the beginning, but I think they still have their identity. : )
My another favorite j-rock band is Baroque. Their last album 'Sug Life' (no typo lol) is somehow touching to me )
(Well, to tell the truth, the sound of that album is more like electronic soft rock? ...Sorry,I don't know much about genres of music since I just listen anything that moves me in some ways or, sometimes, anything I can listen while working orz)

Don't worry about being late, the present I gave to her is also late anyway

As for me, I used to listen only X-Japan and Pierrot, all the others didn't quite keep me involved, so I gave the whole j-rock thing up... But perhaps I should rethink it.
Baroque? That rings a bell, I will make sure to get to know their music . ( It doesn't really matter, so don't worry. I know nothing about how to tell the difference between one genre or another, too )
