anyway. melchioooor. as you might have guessed, melchior is half-angel (though, if it makes any sense at all, his angel half is dominant over his human half; he is immortal, for example, and has an angel form, due to his father being a seraph). he is also an angel that has been banished from heaven and purgatory (the two main angel kingdoms) for resurrecting the soul of a man he loved - resurrection of a human that isn't 'yours' being one of the highest crimes an angel or a demon can commit, the only worse thing being destroying a soul - only for that man to fall for someone else and abandon him.
