Better late than never, I always say... Well, I never say that. But I did this time, and I meant it. I appreciate the love for the trout... that one was a custom illustration from a relative's catch in Maine or something.

Thanks! I don't blend with oils or water, I layer light shades using different pressures... probabbly not the right way to do it, but it's the way I know.

Mostly Prismacolors, but I have a number of Derwent pencils that are "odd" colors that help me get different shades and tones.

Many of my drawing are composites of photos, other drawings and paintings. This fish was a commission and drawn solely from a photo. It's not just A fish, it's THE fish that was caught.
