You're reading too much into it. This video is for the people that have never seen groups / never interacted with the system before. They'd have no idea that we have a class called "members". To them "members" applies to everyone in the group (including admins / contributors, etc), so it's ok that it says that in the video.

Heh, yeah it's not that big a point, but I'm just saying it's not technically correct since there aren't any areas "exclusively" for members (it's all users or only admins, no middle ground yet).
Is this being published anywhere? Or is this a dA exclusive publication? Seems like a lot of work to put into a film if it's not going to reach a wide audience. Is this for the official release in March? I can see if they included that part if they have plans to fix that discrepancy before this is published.

There aren't any areas for members as you know them (the groups class). This video is referring to "members" as anyone who gets messages from the group (excluding the actual members class). The video isn't wrong, you're just misunderstanding the way it's using the word "members", however, I can understand how it'd be confusing to someone familiar with the system.
Also, about it reaching a wider audience... stay tuned.
