So back in October or November, requested me to draw the Scooby Doo gang in their hillbilly outfits from The Scooby Doo Show episode, "Ozark Witch Switch." It's now February..... but I finally have it finished!! It didn't really actually take me 4 months to draw, scan, color, and edit this. I just didn't get around to even starting the project until this month. So really it only took me one month. So sorry for the ridiculous lateness, but life tends to get in the way and I have to put art on the back-burner a lot because it's not a means of income for me, just a hobby.

I like to think that this was sometime before they actually capture the witch and are goofing off and laughing about how silly they look in these clothes, having dumped flour on themselves (I'm assuming that's what they used to make themselves all white), and pretending to be ghosts. Not crazy about the clothes they're wearing (hillbilly stuff just doesn't appeal to me), but overall I'm proud of this piece. It challenged me to play around with unfamiliar tools and effects in Paintshop Pro and to try a theme I wouldn't normally give a second thought about. Plus, this was my second request of a drawing EVER, so I got excited that someone wanted ME to draw something for THEM. Makes me feel like my art is improving.
