Look who came to stay with me!This is a 4'-tall plywood Pinkie Pie cutout, made for an impromptu Pinkie Pie Party on the 29th (we also made Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash stand-ups). I did almost all the painting (and re-painting, as I was "assisted" by two little girls - a 7 y.o. and a 10 y.o.) so I got to bring her home with me!
She is now bolted to the inside of my shop door and watches me while I work.
Yeah, I can't paint for sh*t, but this was my first time in over thirty years so cut me some slack.

Thanks! It's not mine to sell though, I just gave her a home until the next local meet here in Seattle - she's also tentatively scheduled to come to Everfree Con with me, once we get an okay from Hasbro to use their characters.
Anyway, shipping her to NY would be stupidly expensive since she's on plywood. It's easy to make your own: We just used an overhead projector to project the image on the board, traced the outlines, then paint the fills (I just used acrylic paint 'cause it's cheap and cleans up with water). I'd recommend treating the board with gesso first — we didn't, and it was a PIA. Then just use a jigsaw to cut out the general outline, and attache a triangular piece to the back with hinges (so it can fold flat for moving or storage) so she'll stand up.

It was EPIC, yo!!! Although maybe it was because I lost my bag so someone held my place in line while I scream and yell at the taxi company or whatever.
And this is my first con ever so I didn't get any autographs because I am absolutely content with just MEETING these people! Seeing them IN PERSON! And I just loved it!
I ended up spending most of my time hanging around with the musicians. I just can't believe that actually happened. Alex S, Chain Algorithm, Foozogz, Omnipony, Jackle App, Tarby... I can't list, but I met so many popular people I only saw on the internet! Just seeing the VAs was awesome, and I'm glad I even talked to Seth at all. I was hoping I saw some of the artists, but I couldn't find them. XD
And I met people I didn't expect to see, either! Lasfas, Supersaw Hooves...
I can just keep going with this, I'll just saw I didn't have high expectations for this thing. I had no idea that THIS IS CONSIDERED "BAD". In that case, I wonder what "good" would be!!! I wonder if maybe I should go to the next BroNYCon... We have Everfree NW on the west coast, so I can't be sure...
