- HISTORY: Letta is the only child of Hurbert Herman, a Hariyama, and Moria Herman, a Hypno. Moria Herman, formally known as Moria Addler, was born in Pewter City and lived there until she was twenty-two. She had gone on vacation to Hoenn, enjoying herself by visiting some of the more popular towns. She met Hurbert while he was a lonley ferryman at the time, wanting a sweetheart to croon over on his trips. He found that in Moria, and they were quick to get married and even quicker to have an egg. They found a home together and settled down in Slateport.
Letta Jay was a relatively normal drowzee, playing with other pokemon her age by the shore, getting picked on for her weird nose, and doing other kiddy things with other kiddy pokemon. The only thing strange at that point was her irrational fear of the ocean, she insisted if she set foot in it something would jump out of the water and eat her. Her parent's stopped trying to help her get over it after a while, and the child was perfectly happy digging in the sand on the shore.
When she turned thirteen Letta Jay started going through some quick obsessions'. Most lasted around a week and as the last of them drained out of her system she grew bored and was disappointed that she hadn't found her passion yet. She Took a page from her mother's life and went traveling around Hoenn. Long story short Letta found her love of gem finding and tried to make a carrier out of it, studying and saving up for needed materials, information, and other such things you need to start a business.
Now a few years into her business Letta wants to find a good home base without to much competition, and Pokette Town seems to be a perfect fit.

- HOBBY: Digging for Gems/crystals/rare stones, stargazing, going on adventures with friends, and physical competitions
- JOB: Gem Stone Cutter([link] ), as a side job Letta also offers her services as a dream eater and a hypno to those with insomnia, recurring nightmares, and other such problems.
- FAVORITE FOOD: Refreshing juicy things fruit/smoothies/ice
- FAVORITE BERRY: Chesto berries. When she has a late night dig and/or is working on something for long periods of time she like to turn them into a sort of 'energy drink' basically she punches them while their in a bowl and downs everything after licking her fingers. coffee's too civilized for her.
- CATCHPHRASE: "...hmph!"
- ACCESSORIES: Letta carries a pendulum around for food purposes, just like every other Hypno, and a retractable pickax. She's very proud of it and will usually not let anyone else hold it due to the fact she spent about half a years worth of savings on it.
- EXTRA:
+ After her first encounter with what she calls 'tunnel poachers' Letta Jay decided to dye her fur brown as camouflage. Liking how it looked she later had it done permanently.

+ Letta is very greedy and territorial when it comes to her gems and dig sites, and will attack anyone who unknowingly enters one of her tunnels. She sort of enjoys beating up intruders as well so she see's this as a bonus...

+ Thanks to one of her earlier obsessions Letta now finds death and other such topics good conversation material. Letta knows this isn't normal and uses it when she wants to scare some pokemon or wants to warn people away from one of her dig sites. However, if you happen to enjoy some of Letta's earlier hobbies she will see no reason to not fangirl with you for hours upon hours.
