As some of you know, I like to propagate and grow plants. For many years I avoided African Violets because I thought they were "difficult" plants to grow. Well, nothing is further from the truth. They are actually quite easy to grow and propagate. (at least once you know what they want).This is a photo of a baby that I recently started from a leaf cutting. The coin is a South Korean 10 Won coin. It is slightly smaller than a U.S. quarter. In a few months this plant will mature and produce beautiful pink flowers. ^_^

A while back I posted a macro picture called "Flora Junk". [link]
That is a flower on the mama plant that donated the cutting.
Due to the 'closeness', you can't really see the bloom but that is the color of the bloom. About 8 to 10 little flowers are on each bloom stem. (for lack of a better word).
If treated with plenty of light and a light dose of fertilizer (and some sensual talk) they produce many of these little beauties. ^_^
Don't get any water on the leaves. They hate that. The leaves will die if they get much water on them.
