I have recently fallen in love with Sour-Apple-Studios 's Horrortale and was super motivated to make some cool fanart!So here it is! This took fOREVER but I'm super happy with how it turned out!
So yes, Horrortale sans belongs to Sour-Apple-Studios !

Yeah I tried to go for a real creepy feeling with the head twitches and finger movement in both hands, and then attempted to add a shady background with the bear traps and such. bUT WOW I'm so happy it's finally done ^v^
That being said, if there is anything you see that could use some constructive criticism, critiques are open! I'm always open for critiques on work like this so I can make my art better yet!
and yeh the animation wasnt as smooth as I'd like, but I was animating in gimp so kms

(I haven't written a Critique in a while so I apologize if I sound weird or like a broken record ;v; )
Honestly, I'm amazed that you were able to animate this on GIMP, the pace of the snow falling and San's twitching/fingers drumming feels realistic and delightfully cartoony at the same time, it adds to the creepiness factor when you put everything into perspective.
I also ADORE the soft shading in this, its something I could never pull off and seeing it in motion is super pretty to look at. Its like watching a color pencil drawing moving on a single sheet of paper, I love it <3
Two details that you made on Sans that I love is the animation of his Red Eye/Pupil and his fingers gripping into his empty eye socket. The Retro-T.V like blinking that his eye does I think really adds to his character in the sense of how much he's lost it over time; as if he'd attack you in a literal blink of an eye. And mentioned before, the fingers sinking into his eye shows how much he's trying to pull himself through madness evolving around him, and the mental issues he's trying to conquer in his head (even though its clearly wide open).
If I could find something to nitpick about would probably be how the stand was drawn, the bold lines don't really fit with the shading and background and it sticks out like a sore thumb almost. But then again, buildings are extremely hard to draw and shade so I understand how it came to look like that. That, and the finger size difference between San's hands, it looks a little odd.
Either than that, I think this is a solid piece. Its enjoyably creepy and strikes the feelings of hopelessness and dread into the viewer, this is definitely an amazing contribute to the AU HorrorTale <3
