Proudly I present my so far best vector work!

(... well, it's like my second or third, so that shouldn't be hard...)
Nevertheless, I'm quite enthusiastic about the result! (or I'm simply delirious due to lack of sleep)

# Inspiration:
The pictured character is Erio Touwa, main character of the anime 'Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko' (airing this season). I tucked 4 screencaps from episode 2 together and Voilà: [link]
I'm actually not a huge fan of her (yet) but the show seems to live on cute female appeals, so... lots of material.

# Work:
I'm still a noob with Illustrator. Which is probably why it took me like... 25-30 hours for the whole thing. In effect I spent two nights this week in a non-dormant way and slept through at least half of my lectures.
I tried to capture all reasonable details but just couldn't be bothered to do something about the food in the bowl and the pattern on the futon. So far I didn't really work with blur and gradients. Applications of the former were nice and clear but about the latter... actually I was just playing around with it, no idea if i totally screwed things up at this point...

# Tools:
AI CS4 and PS CS4 (for like indirect export... no idea how that's done 'correctly'. i might have totally failed without knowing.)

# Evaluation:
If you happened to look at this for at least 5 seconds... please leave your opinion. If I can't produce something halfway acceptable in such a ridiculous amount of time - I'd like to know, so I can find a hobby I suck less at.

PS: of course I don't have any rights to the character/show/whatever else.
