Well that took way longer than I would have wanted to.ALLRIGHT EVERYBODEH !! Headcanon time.
What is a lunar carnival you may ask me. Well Lunar Carnival in my alternative plain of oblivion is a 3 day festive period 1 day prior to Nightmare Night, the day of the Nightmare Night and one day after. where Luna keeps the moon on the sky for 72 hours so that the ponies could appreciate the night she brings to equestria. The entire time between the moonrise to the moonset is considered a holiday with all things that brings about. Costumes partying fireworks booze and a ludicrous amount of sweet foods.
