Frankly now I'm trying to figure out if Kage really is the name of MZD's shadow--
Also just a fun fact I don't see Kage and Hatena as the same...Person???

Well I think it's his offical name, frankly I hardly know anything about him besides from he's MZD's shadow, his name is most likely Kage, and that there was a female verison in a animation which I am still searching for and thanks!

Yes I know, but I still like to call the shadow with the horns and ears Kage because of a mistake he wiki made that time, so pretty much I see the horned and ear one (Kage) and the one with no horns or ears (Hatena) as pretty much seprate things but anyways since you said I could ask anything I've been pondering about like a female Hatena, I've heard she was in a win animation but I can't really find it anywhere but clearly she does exist because of multiple artists drawing, so if you could maybe tell me more about this shadow that'd be great!

Hatena cannot talk normally. He(I'm unsure of its gender) speaks with periods around his words, like (...lol...). It is said that when MZD created the pop'n world, he deleted the previous world and only hatena survived, because hatena comments in his song that 'when the world disappeared, i was left there singing.' His song, Neu/Niente, is also about a world that vanished while he was sleeping. Β On the other hand, one of MZD's songs, Rinascita, is actually Niente played backwards. It means 'resurrection', while Niente means 'none'. MZD comments: 'In a parallel world, the opposite of end is the beginning. Lets start this all over. Hello, world!'

There's nothing to be sad about! Mimi and Nyami found hatena in their adventures, and took him to MZD. Assuming that he was homeless, MZD made him his shadow.(It's said that he is sometimes impressed by how well hatena is at pranking and stealing his stuff.) I'm sorry about the link- but the girl version is pink, and has long hair.

D'aww, you know I guess I would assume that he would mess with MZD sometimes, kinda like a little kid, but is the horned and eared one the same because that one was from the first MZD appearance and Hatena was in 15 which is like 8 years apart?
Also I know what the female version looks like but I've always wanted to see it in game but I've never been able to find it anywhere but maybe one way is that you could like download the picture and put it in Sta.sh because that might work

Hmm, yeah! according to the official site and the plot storyline, that is. And it's not 8 years apart! Hatena makes an appearance in almost every versions of MZD. (The only exceptions are the ones in 'the movie' and 'fantasia'.) According to the in-game motions -from both MZD and ?, hatena could easily form-shift and change his size: from the size of MZD's hands and as big as the shadow seen in lapistoria.Β The official site says that his limits are 100m and 0.0001mm.
Also, the big one is a bit tougher. The name Kage refers to 'shadow'.. so it's not completely wrong. I guess?
