Description The oddidy of nature, Saladasaurs. a boneysaur that was created by ryne (a rather....flamboient sort of fellow), he has off the charts attack that can be boosted further with CHARGE!. Ryne apparently wanted to combine the most perfect animal with the most perfect food...salads.

Scratts In reply to Temorali [2012-08-21 22:41:19 +0000 UTC]

He's powerful, alright, but a glass cannon- he can launch off attacks like no ones business, but he himself can't take an assault.

Impressive display of the vicious Saladasaurus, the last bonus data even that came out and the only Boneysaur that can learn charge!

Scratts In reply to BurningG-HellOnEarth [2012-07-06 14:46:59 +0000 UTC]

tip- use hibigon and hoplo on the replay of the final battle, use charge the first turn and use balisco sour. you will wipe out zongazonga and his z rexes in one hit! (my record for damage is over 3000! DBZ reference haha)

BurningG-HellOnEarth In reply to Scratts [2012-07-06 17:05:36 +0000 UTC]

Impressive combo! Though, my highest attack record is 3579! You should add your record to the damage record page on the FF wiki (you can go to that site and confirm it yourself!) Using the Boneysaurs B-Plesio and B-Tricer works as well... Now, what I'm trying to do is to find a vivosaur that learns Law of the Jungle and has a massive boost to attack because Salada has the parting blow ability which highly boosts its attack when it get to low LP and with the added boost of Charge, and an up to attack, that thing will be unstoppable!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Scratts In reply to BurningG-HellOnEarth [2012-07-06 17:07:22 +0000 UTC]

either aeros or b rex, because salada only works with other boney saurs or air type.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

BurningG-HellOnEarth In reply to Scratts [2012-07-06 17:15:41 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, that's the issue and Aeros gives no boost to attack and B-rex only gives +40%... I guess if I add B-Plesio, the parting blow will give the added bost and drop the record... or I can just have an incompatible team, like Salada and two Guans, and use Wild Downer!

Scratts In reply to BurningG-HellOnEarth [2012-07-06 17:19:12 +0000 UTC]

honestly, there are better compatible teams that may surprise you! my team of sopertyrx, igua, and ptera is compatible and has a total speed of 94 with the correct fossils. ptera's team skill with a 90% enrage rate along with a 100% confuse rate with sopteryx and a healing skill makes igua nearly unstoppable, especially with his counter skill. expiriment! youll be surprised! (Legendaries and Boneysaurs, along with carno and Cerato almost never make a team skill)

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

BurningG-HellOnEarth In reply to Scratts [2012-07-07 00:10:11 +0000 UTC]

That does actually sound like a pretty well-rounded team, especially since Ptera can enrage so you don't have to worry about his or Sopteryx's low LP! About the legendaries, I know there not all their cracked up to be but I still think their pretty kick-ass even if I don't use them mysefl... I find it strange that Carno and Cerato don't have team skills... well kind of strange! I also don't like that some vivosaurs don't have support effects! I think that onlt the Dinomaton, the robotic grunts of the dinaurians, shouldn't have support effects! Everyone else should at least have something, even if it's +5% to a single state!

BurningG-HellOnEarth In reply to Scratts [2012-07-07 04:47:49 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, that would make sense but now with the super revived vivosaurs, they have a few more flaws then you'd expect! Still a pretty good idea for a team!

BurningG-HellOnEarth In reply to Scratts [2012-07-07 16:39:50 +0000 UTC]

I'd use the dinaurians for my killer team considering that they didn't SUCK in the old game! I used Dynal to rank all my vivosaurs up because even if I had the most lowly, terrible vivosaurs as allies, Dynal's states would keep Guhvorn from even touching them! Sadly, now that they suck AND no longer have vivosaur compatibility, I don't use them anymore !

theyre cheap anyways in both games

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

BurningG-HellOnEarth In reply to Scratts [2012-07-07 23:41:52 +0000 UTC]

Their just infinitely more cheap in the old game and I like them better that way because they can actually WIN most of the time! In FFC, their terrible defenses and LP and super-high FP using skills make them almost impossible to weald as a deadly team like they used to be!

Scratts In reply to BurningG-HellOnEarth [2012-07-08 19:32:58 +0000 UTC]

BurningG-HellOnEarth In reply to Scratts [2012-07-08 19:56:12 +0000 UTC]

Exactly! MY TOTAL POINT EXACTLY!!!! Their dinaurian elites from another galaxy, if not dimension, were matter is none-existent and the substance that creates all life is it's opposite, antimatter! Their supposed to be kick-ass! I have made a chart were I changed their states to make them more realistic for them, giving them all killer states that make even the mighty rex quiver with fear!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Scratts In reply to BurningG-HellOnEarth [2012-07-08 21:18:29 +0000 UTC]

hold it, the rex still needs to be the best overall, since he has tyrants roar and 99 attack!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

BurningG-HellOnEarth In reply to Scratts [2012-07-08 21:23:56 +0000 UTC]

T-rex is a pretty awesome vivosaur with 99 attack AND 50 defense! Along with a good accuracy at 42 but a sad, sad evasion at 12 though most people expected that. Since he's a theropod, I think he should have a little more, like maybe 14-16, not too much but not sauropod pitiful! I still think the dinaurians should be better, at least in some aspects! And Igno should definitely have higher LP, attack and defense since he is a magma incrusted T-rex but, his accuracy and evasion should be worse of course.

Scratts In reply to BurningG-HellOnEarth [2012-07-08 21:25:01 +0000 UTC]

the real t rex was slow as some saurpods- only as fast as a tractor tops.he had to much muscle to move fast

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

BurningG-HellOnEarth In reply to Scratts [2012-07-08 21:51:59 +0000 UTC]

He wasn't that slow! They did tests and said he could probably run at 15 miles per hour! He should have some more than a sauropod. 12 and under for the truly pitifully slow movers like Stegosaurids, Sauropods and Ankylosaurids; T-rex is more in the 15 speed range!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Scratts In reply to BurningG-HellOnEarth [2012-07-08 21:53:10 +0000 UTC]

still, thats pretty slow compared to other theropods like crylophasaurs, who was estimated at at least 25 or allosaurs who was just as long but could go 20

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

BurningG-HellOnEarth In reply to Scratts [2012-07-08 21:54:17 +0000 UTC]

That is true but their speeds should be upped too to somewhere close to 18-22.

Scratts In reply to BurningG-HellOnEarth [2012-07-08 21:56:03 +0000 UTC]

i guess youre right... but still, the t rex needed SOME flaw, i mean, imagine a t rex would made a team always go first? besides, Cryo is my favorite vivo and i actually perfer him over t rex (thanks to cold shout)

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

BurningG-HellOnEarth In reply to Scratts [2012-07-08 22:09:09 +0000 UTC]

Just giving him an extra 3 speed won'y help that much! He'll still be about as good, just a tad bit better! Cryo can be a real pisser to the enemy but his states aren't that good as a whole!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Scratts In reply to BurningG-HellOnEarth [2012-07-09 01:36:57 +0000 UTC]

not if you support him well! i've team him with the unlike buddies elasmoth and dimorph. elasmoth jacks his attack by nearly 50% and dimorph cuts all sats, including defnse to the enemy AZ by 25%. that combined can make cryo a hard hitter that always super exictes. and in desparte situations, he can use frozen pulse- a powerful 60% poison team skill to chop off 1/4 of any enemies it hits! besides, his crest looks like elvis!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

BurningG-HellOnEarth In reply to Scratts [2012-07-09 02:56:09 +0000 UTC]

That could actually be a good combination as well though I would use Dimorph Ace which has the same support effects but has superior states as a whole and Kaisin might be a useful replacement for Elasmo... at least some of the time because his support effects do hamper defense and evasion so he's not always a top pick! And yes, Cryo does look pretty awesome and so does his chillin' moves (get the pun?!)

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Scratts In reply to BurningG-HellOnEarth [2012-07-09 12:32:49 +0000 UTC]

i perfer dimorph over ace since he has cheaper enrage moves- i can sneak in more attacks with status effects every turn to render opponents helpless.
... i've doing some expire\imenting with igno, and discovered that smilo is honestly his needed partner, because his FP plus helps to use ignos expensive moves but he also doubles his dfense. add in another dependable vivosaur who can help along the way and you have a pretty solid team!... alothough if smilo goes, youre pretty much screwed,

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

BurningG-HellOnEarth In reply to Scratts [2012-07-09 18:41:11 +0000 UTC]

I would suggest Hoplo or Guan as the extra vivosaur! That is always the issue with a team like that, when the supporter goes, you either have to think fast or you lose it all!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Scratts In reply to BurningG-HellOnEarth [2012-07-10 15:00:31 +0000 UTC]

but smilo cant fight and a tough, trustworthy guy one can depend on in case that happens, like spinax or such

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

BurningG-HellOnEarth In reply to Scratts [2012-07-10 18:11:00 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, I know, Hoplo would be useful for the sole point of having FP plus and a 50% increase to attack while Guan gives a 99% boost to attack and can transform into a T-rex in dire situations! But if you want someone sturdy, I'd go with Buldor, Heracles, Despino, Kaisin, hell, almost any of the super revives as long as they don't butcher your states like Mapo King or T-rex Lord!
