Here is the cover for Across Thin Ice , Book One of the Nordguard graphic novel trilogy.I can't believe I'm typing this, but...As of posting this, there's only 7 signed copies of the hardcover edition still available for pre-order! :]

Pre-orders will ship July 1st, or you can pick it up at AnthroCon. There will also be 200 or so hardcover copies, which are not part of the pre-orders, that will be available at Anthrocon, and ComicCon, while supplies last. Those will be sold first come, first serve, so if you miss out on the hardcover pre-orders and are attending AC, you still stand a good chance of getting one! (There will be plenty of softcover copies, this is just if you're interested in getting one of the first-edition hardcovers.)
And, last reminder, the softcover copies for $19.95 will first debut at AnthroCon, and go for sale online July 1st 2011, from Sofawolf Press's site, here!

Good sketch!! The charaters are so cool and realistic that they have almost a human look...But what I like so much is the background: the mountains covered with snow and the grey clouds. Brrrrr!!! I'M SOOO COLD!!

Okay, with acrylic...*faints* IΒ΄m just learning to draw with them so I hope would be able to draw such a beautiful piece like that as well one day.
A very, very great piece of art, the details are incredible and I find something new every time I look at it again. The lightning situation fit very well and together with their expressions it makes
it look very enthralling, just like thereΒ΄s something going to happen very soon.
Also I took a quick look at some of the booksΒ΄ pages since IΒ΄m kinda busy right now, but I really liked what I saw and will definitely come back to find out more about it! (:

Yo Blotch(es), I know I rarely say much, but I just wanted to let you guys know I am really heavyly impressed by NorthGuard. I'm not a big comic buyer/reader, but the pages I keep seeing are outstanding in every aspect, and that is digging deeper than just "wow and beautiful" but in atmosphere, image layout, the studies behind it and all the little details. Keep it up. Am eyeballing a copy, must get my credit card activated some day.

You particularly hit a home run with the face of the foreground character.
My only complaint is that the gun's barrel looks like it's in the .44-.45 range but the cylinder and frame are too small for that calibre.

Thanks! I suspect I'll be LiveStreaming more, now and then--my @screwbald account on Twitter is where I announce when I'm streaming. I Streamed painting a piece this last Saturday, and I plan to do it more when the piece warrants it. I will probably start working in earnest on the next Nordguard book toward the end of the summer, and I imagine I will stream stuff from it like the first book. :]
