Description On the way to the Kudlowich Homestead (Birds Hill Park).

I love these trees. They remind me of my childhood - of cabins and small hidden beaches and the sound of the creek rushing through the trees. There is no creek here, but the feeling, for me, remains the same.

Here, there is history beneath your feet. If you listen closely enough, you can hear the world breathe.

Thank you. I really have to return to this trail one day. I haven't done enough hiking this summer.

There are beautiful colors here - and I don't know where from it comes, but there is an ambiance too. In fact, it comes from the tree and its...its, huh, I'm sorry, I don't remember the word in English, the leafs of the trees ? Well, it's like some scenes of past were printed on these trees. Like if they were full of past and emotions and you can guess it because these things are printed too on the pic. Keeping the real reality of the scene...Very lovely.

'the leafs' works well. ^__^ The 'foliage', perhaps? In any case, I did understand what you meant. (Feel free to use french when you like, I do understand it, even if I will most likely reply in english. )
The ambiance is very strong; it's what drew me to this shot. I always feel as though the trees are leaning forward and down and pulling me further down the path. There's a wonderful sense of history in this place, and I'm glad I could capture it, (and glad others could sense it. ) Thank you.

Beautiful! I think I know what you mean -- the image gives me a sense of peace and freedom, the light sepia makes me think of the past and the winding road makes me think of the future Very nice!

Oh, I love your interpretation! I know I couldn't have said it better myself. This spot always makes me feel connected - past, preset, future - like I have a live wire under my feet. I love imagining what events and lives such places have seen. Too bad trees can't talk.

Indeed... maybe they can't talk in words, but if we attribute communication to them, who's to deny it?

wow this is a beautiful image.
the way the trees bend in and follow the contour of the road is amazing.
And the colour, it reminds me of an old fadhioned book i used to read.
it's wonderful, thankyou for sharing

please feel free to comment on my deviations
