A few of you knew I was going away on a road trip sometime this month. Well, I just got back this past Monday.I've yet to sort through all the pics, but I already have a few that have caught my eye.
Here's one from Banff. We went up the gondola, and had the pleasure of watching several mountain goats eating the leftover snow on the mountain below the walkways. It was a bit cold and windy, and the background was filled with the lovely sound of buzzsaws and drills as the workers worked in the building behind us but ...
It was also gorgeous.

Thanks! And yes, Banff is in Alberta, Canada. (www.banff.ca/ ) It's typically a skiing tourist town in the winter, but the gondola lifts stay open in Summer. The view is spectacular! Canada has such a varied landscape, and I'd definitely recommend going to see the mountains if you ever visit.
