Description
A commission for ~EngiFox on the BBA forums! She was kind enough to commission me for her character NightRaven, who has an absolutely awesome design.
She originally asked for a picture with a simple background, but after I lost the first picture I had done (I was just up to doing the background after finishing everything else) due to Photoshop not wanting to open it again, I woke up one morning and POOF this came into my mind. XD So it's not really a 'simple' background by my standards, but since there's only half a background, I thought it unfair to have a boring background. And besides, my original idea was a sunrise... There's some significance to this to do with NightRaven being an Alteron Shadow (maybe he's going back... home or something XD), but I dunno.
So I sketched it, and... yeah. NightRaven was done in Photoshop, the background was done in openCanvas.
Thanks for *sunshine-sunset for helping me correct about 10 billion things wrong with it originally!

I love the painterly bg...wow those mountains with the sun is just beautiful. And I love the way the char is walking -out of- the bg, such an effective style. But the wolf and the bg still go together, they aren't seperated or anything because of the highlights on the chars coat which makes the whole piece work so well together.

I'm the biggest fan of these types of pictures. I like how the picture interacts with the viewer. The walking out of the background.. it's just beautiful. This is awesome, Scrii. Keep up the great work!

Haha when someone says that DaVinci is draws well, they should take a look at YOUR art. YOUR art is trillions better than DaVinci's
