I really like the style of shading you used, but some of the lighter pieces look a bit too similar and therefore unnatural, such as the ones on the foreleg and back. I think the antlers would look better as a dark shade of blue, to preserve unity with the blue body. Also, the deer doesn't stick out from the background very much. It could be because the background values are similar to the deer's, or because the detail on the pine tree in the background (which is actually really well done) detracts a little from the focus on the deer. You could also try to give the background a sense of perspective by adding silhouettes of trees or something behind the mountain. That's a matter of your own judgement, though. Overall, the feeling is really nice. I love the white silhouette framing and the way it relates to the white orbs in the middle. Just make your focus more obvious and touch up a few little details to deepen the impact of the image.
