probably the cutest character i have ever seen in an anime, ever. fo eva. and eva. his theme song only makes things that much more sickeningly cute.for those who don't know, this is Tony Tony Chopper from One Piece. and if you've never heard or seen this series, FOR SHAME. it's so good. it has choked me up on several occassions... especially the arc that adds chopper to the crew. PS don't bother with the dubs, they're balls. sweaty smelley balls with hair and warts. it's either the subs or nothing at all!!
decided to go back to the old style for this one, i need bright burn your eyes out vibrant colors!

Wow, instance fav. I really love it when an artist takes something with a very distinctive style and render it differently, since seeing it from a different perspective breathes new life into it. Love the composition, too, with the shadow of monster point in the background.

I can't watch One Piece on account of its horrible art, unfortunately. And the fact that the fansubs are utterly terrible and, in most cases, wrong! Gah.
He looks a lot better and more colourful/detailed/shaded than he ever does in the series!

to each his own! i think the art and execution of both the manga and anime are brilliant... to me, it's an uncommon mix of crazy stylization and a really soulful story... usually a series will have one, but not the other.
