Say what you want about the content of these books, but the covers on the Sonic archives series looks SOOOO GOOOOOD!!! I find it funny that apparently, in Archie continuity, Classic got brown eyes according to these covers. XD I approve!....Because I also got brown eyes. LOL!

The Pre-Ian Flynn era of the Archie comics was...a mixed bag. Mostly bad writing, but there were some good here and there, but it was all mostly covered by bad, so its not easy to find. I will say that before Flynn took over as writer, there were plenty of times I felt the comic didn't understand Sonic's personality. However, when Ian took over, for the first issues that seemed to still be the case until it became more clear that Sonic's personaly was now slowly developing to become more like how its supposed to be. That shows some respect for what came before instead of just completely changing everything on the first issue one starts.

Robotnik on the other hand...I honestly liked how he was written for the most part...however...was his story complicated? XD First it seemed like he was like his Satam Counterpart except for some details, but then he dies and he gets replaced by a counterpart from another dimension who is a robot, who later on changes his apperance to look like modern Eggman...it was...convoluted...

Still, good or bad, still a part of Sonic's history.
