Description Yeahhhh I totally tricked you by saying that was the last lion cub - little did you know that I still had an adolescent lion.Β  I sure am sneaky like that.

Actually this is probably the only photo I'll post of this guy since I don't want to spam you all too much, so this really will be the last lion for a while.Β  I still have about a bajillion other animal photos on the way, though.

Yeah, the spots tend to fade as they get older, though sometimes the adults still have faint spots on their legs too.

Beautiful shot! It's rare to see images of adolescents, he's really pretty, still having some spots and having the mane coming in too.

Thanks!Β  Yeah it's always interesting to see the adolescent lions, especially the males with the partial manes - you tend to only see the little mane-less cubs or the adults with the big full manes.
