Gala couldn't let this little furry creature freeze and offers a helping hoof. A pair of snowy eyes appears to bear witness from among the trees...Entry for Week 25 of the Nordanner RNG Mini Show in the Theme: Search and Rescue class with A315 Galadriel ! Includes the +5 kaaring bonus for including a spirit.

AWW THIS IS GORGEOUS
That little fox kit looks just so small and cuddly! (is he/she a red fox or another Vulpes sub species? I adore the bands of colouring around the ears and the pale face ^^) And Gala looks just so beautiful, as always! (though its kind of strange to see the spirit-esque style on her face but the softer, more natural shapes for the rest of her) I just have no idea how you always make her markings look so beautiful. And the background is so lovely - its snowy and cold looking, but there's just something really kind of cosy about it anyway? The shadows of trees and the ones across Gala just add so much atmosphere.

She's supposed to be a red fox but I wanted to adjust the coloring to look a little more like she was an animated character instead of aiming for realism XD I thought the ears were super cute myself 
Sometimes I'm a lazy walnut and if I'm having too much trouble with her markings or am running out of time I copy them from another drawing I did of her and proceed to edit them to fit the pose D: I try not to do that but it's a lifesaver in some cases XD
It would be awesome if she placed but I really love the +5 kaaring bonuses and the inspiration the prompts give me for different pieces so even when she doesn't it's well worth entering XD

It looks cute, that way, though - and more individual, which you lose with realism. I do love the ears 
Also that is a really clever way to get her markings down quick if you're in a rush. Nice move!
That's a good point, though. I really didn't enter the RNG shows much until the past few. They used to be a lot of jumping/dressage/liberty etc, which is all well and good, but never really inspired me, so Heaven's gained her kaaring without too many bonuses so far, but they are a really nice plus side to the entries, and its lots of fun with the more creative classes (I'm finding).

LOL yeah it's a style thing - I do all the realistic ones with softer edged markings
