lol, yes they are. I've always invisioned death as an angel rather than the typical reaper.

By some scriptures accounts an archangel by the name of Azriel is in fact the angel of death. I have a book on angels which I used as a major source of reference when I created my 'The Archangel Within' quiz. He looks very cool.

Not in the Bible, any other text is simply mythical. Don't get my work, I do enjoy mythical accounts of angels and demons, it just can't hold up when comparing it to actual biblical scriptures.

Even if the accounts themselves are not in the bible, one thing is a for certain. Angels, demons, dragons, and many other creatures have some foothold in just about every part of our world. Archangels such as Gabriel and Michael are mentioned in the Koran (sp?). It's just all very interesting and fasinating to someone like me.

I like this one quite a bit as well. The only thing is that my eyes keep getting distracted by the really bright white spot to the left of his feet. This shot reminds me of the dreamlike state you would probally be in when you met him

the spot you're referring to could either be light from the flames or radiant light from the left wing

Great! it's dark with a brilliant contrast of bright fire. I also like the contrast between the dark cloak...Maybe representing evil, darkness, sin Etc? with the pure white hands of an innocent.
