Where on earth would you get the eggs for one of these things? Wouldn't mind raising one myself, especially to keep away the idiots that don't realize it's not poisonous.

I don't know if they sell eggs (they hatch into tadpoles in only days, anyhow), the frogs themselves are sold for various prices and my friend breeds them

Nice photo! I saw some of these at the Shedd, but my photos of them sucked and they weren't on any postcards. Beautiful pattern. Makes me want to paint a Poison Dart Yara-ma-yha-who.

Their bodies become poisonous by concentrating toxins from insects they eat! The same friend once had some that were caught wild, though, and it made her feverish just to have them in her house AT ALL! The poison was getting into the air! Touching a wild one with the tiniest wound on your hand will kill you dead

The venom comes through their diet.
So, in captivity they really aren't dangerous at all.
