Happy 17th Birthday DA! For anyone else interested in celebrating or getting the birthday badge with the scribble challenge, more information and the template can be found here: heidi.deviantart.com/journal/C…Admittedly this took a lot longer than I would have hoped... one main reason being my computer shut down in the middle and it saved as a single layer (scribbles and goop included underneath all the lineart!) and it took a long time to clean it up (probably faster to have started from scratch). It's messier than I'd like it, but oh well, birthday badge for me!

Thanks! I had this piece zoomed in when I was drawing the food, and I didn't realize how many plates I made until I zoomed back out! Originally they were going to be a lot bigger haha. XD

I'm curious Scythic. What exactly inspired you to make such a varied artstyle? It's so artistic that there's a lot of emotion and style in the lighting, colors, and even the lining.

For this one, I originally had something very different planned, but it wasn't really working out with the birthday template. Basically this one was just doodling with what I think would fit with the pre-existing lines. Thanks for your compliments! I think one thing that helps with getting more character into this was that I was using my friend's Cintiq, and having that helps a lot with being able to do more with the lineart and colors for much less time.

Thank you! Food is such a big part of the game, I felt like I had to incorporate it! (That and the template had some weird lines in it and food was the most versatile way to make use of them...XD). Haha gotta beware of the killer chickens! Why did the chicken cross the road? To eat you alive! Ruuuuuuuun!
