Description Happy first day of spring! To celebrate, I'll be posting ten photos of flowers throughout the month. This first photo is of Pomponette English Daisies (Bellis perennis). It is an edible flower that is commonly found in white, pink, and red colors. They're popular perennial garden plants and are native to many parts of Europe. I think they're very charming flowers, though I personally don't plant them since it's too hot where I live for them to flourish.

Day 1: Pomponette English Daisies
Day 2: Fuchsia
Day 3: Heliconia Bihai
Day 4: Bleeding Hearts
Day 5: Calla Lily
Day 6: Sakura Blossoms
Day 7: Heartsease
Day 8: Raspberry Swirl Tea Roses
Day 9: White Freesia
Day 10: Orange Cassini Triumph Tulips

Thanks! It was also my first time seeing them back then, and I thought their button-like roundness was really endearing.

These are very beautiful, this cultivar is very nice aswell! The wild form grows like crazy here in Sweden, often found in gardens and parks, it's so successful that it's considered a weed by some. XD

Thanks! And I did see quite a bit of it during my brief visit to Sweden as well! It was really cool seeing how they were everywhere, in the parks, in people's gardens, and every other pot in the city it seemed haha. We don't have many of them around where I live, so it was really fun seeing them! (This one was taken in Denmark though). Admittedly, it took me a really long time to figure out what they were called. Just googling "round pink flower" wasn't the most fruitful haha! I think it took me almost two months of sporadic searching just to find it, but now the curiosity has been satisfied. XD

Cool that you got to see them during your trip to Sweden, although that would have been nearly unavoidable. They're everywhere. XD
Oh, I feel your pain there! XD It's like whenv you hear a really good song but don't know the title so you have no idea what to search for. XD
Well, if you're ever stuck with a plant I'm always happy to try and help you figure out the species.

Haha it certainly seemed so! And definitely, I had an experience just like that yesterday! I was trying to find a song where I think they were saying "olio" in it, but I haven't been able to find the right one at all! I'm hoping that it'll be easier to find than the flowers though haha. And thanks! I may take you up on your offer about identifying plants! That would be very helpful, since I have a ton of photos that I couldn't identify, so they didn't make it into the 10 days of flowers series. XD Most of the ones I couldn't identify are actually the ones I took during my trip to Europe last year, as they aren't common here.

Haha, that's so much fun. XD Especially when you mishear the words in a song, and you search what you think the lyrics are, and you never find the song. XD
Nice! I like to identify plants (we trained so much on this during my education, so it's basically wired into my brain now XD), so you can send me pics you would like to identify! I'd be happy to help, anything for you!

Too much miasma heat from ye to grow properly indeed! But these are some cute little flowers! The look so spongy! Like spiky donuts!

Maybe they would grow if you actually cold miasmed more often! But you keep it all to yourself! Harumph! And they are indeed spiky doughnuts, for I am the one true DOUGHNUT KING! All others are impersonators to the throne!
