Description
This is an old picture of my dear little chicken, Phosphatidylethanolamine. She's now all grown up! This picture was actually very difficult to take. She kept wandering off the controller or glancing elsewhere or scratching her head. I do like how she just happened to be chirping while looking at the camera and has her little foot on the analog stick. Yay!We actually bought a dozen of eggs (labeled fertile) from a supermarket called Trader Joe's and stuck 8 of them under our broody silkie hen. Four of them hatched, but three of them ended up being really aggressive roosters so we only kept the sweet, fluffy gamer chick. She actually outlays our five other hens put together. Way to beat out the competition! Go go gamer chick!

Ah I see, that would make it difficult to have chickens. There are some tiny breeds though that do fairly well indoors, but I guess they could still make a mess if the cage is not large enough.

Very true, allowing them to forage and explore the outdoors would also be highly beneficial to their health!
Patience and time makes the end prize all the more worth it! I hope that one day you'll be able to have that garden, and lovely chickens! The planning process itself is a lot of fun too. I remember I waited years before I got my chickens, and ordered a lot of free chicken magazines and looked into their behaviors and best coop designs in the meantime. They were definitely worth the wait!

Thank you! She was a feisty sweetheart with quite a personality! She passed away two years ago, but I'll always remember her fondly.

I've been a Mario fan as long as I can recall (his first game of his own came with the NES doubled on the cartridge w/ duck hunt & I believe I was in kindergarten then now I'm 33 & I've been obsessed with pokemon since it hit the country when it hit the country, there are other games & series I play but those are the main ones)

I've got a hen character in my comic series, Her name is Nala, an Bantam that can really game. Your chick (knowing now Phosphatidylethanolamine--whew!-is a Hen, now...) reminds me of Nala.

Mostly RPGs, especially Zelda. That's her fav game series on the NDS and wii, and some battle games, including CoD and the Metal Gear Solid. LOL

Ah yes, Zelda is a joyous series to play. And unfortunately, the only CoD game that Phosphatidylethanolamine has is World at War, which she didn't really like because it was all brown and gray. I mean, she did enjoy running over people with tanks but that's beside the point. If she's going to be playing something for several hours, it better be easy on the eyes!
