In PROGRESS.I've worked on it all day and am fairly happy with the results considering I only used a touchpad mouse X] No reference used. The picture is still in the works... hmm... to have forest background or not to have forest background?
Any suggestions?
Based on Inu Yasha the series, character copyrighted to Rumiko Takahashi and blah... you know the rest
Make sure to check out the coloring by She is one of my best friends and has been working on line art so I gave her this one. I found the WIP on my hard drive and want to do it again too... now that I know a bit more about photoshop and have a working tablet

Oh yes, definitely do a background. He looks like he's leaning against a tree. Maybe not a full-blown forest, but definitely plants and flowers.

Hi. Good line work. I love the character pose. A forest background would show a good contrast between the two subjects. Good luck with it.

I think a forest will be cool. I find having a background adds a lot to an already good picture. And this is already good - especially since you didn't use a reference! I'm terrible at drawing with references, heh. Good job!
